Black Bloggers United Launches Toronto Chapter
This past Saturday, October 22nd Black Bloggers United kicked-off its first #BBUPOWERHOUR in Toronto. The association of bloggers and v-loggers boasts chapters across the United States representing over 300 members and now Canada has launched one too. Black Leopard Public Relations is excited to be chapter lead for Toronto.
To kick off the very first #BBUPOWERHOUR eight black bloggers from across the city gathered at coffee shop/beauty bar Her Majesty's Pleasure for an afternoon of getting to know each other's blogs, blogging challenges and blogging solutions. Simultaneous to our Toronto meetup the American chapters gathered black bloggers to have coffee or tea, chat and work together on their respective blogs.
If you missed this event and would like to attend future meetups the #BBUPowerHour is a monthly event where bringing your laptop, camera, notebook or whatever you use to blog is encouraged. This is a work period! In future we will also be holding a workshop once a quarter. This workshop will be on a topic, you, the #BBU in Toronto, decide you want to learn more about.
