Obvi, have a website.

Post-pandemic (are we there yet?) and at the beginning of a new year, many of us are looking forward to starting projects and launching new businesses.

One of the marketing strategies I’ve had to council business owners to do again and again is to start with a website. Seems obvious, right? Well not really, in a time where many people rely on social media platforms to do all of their marketing for them. But when you start your own business and have a long-term strategy to stay in business STEP 1 is having a place to keep your content, display what you sell and interact with your community on your own terms. That’s what a website can do for you.

To launch our series of conversations with business owners who’ve taken the leap into their businesses during the pandemic, Alicia Harper gave us some insights on what pushed her to start her businesses and what’s keeping her going during these unprecedented times. Take a look!
