Class is in session

The pandemic is into the second year and I can hardly believe all the changes this last year has brought to the world. We have been lucky enough to survive this pandemic with life and limb, so we’ve been focused on our livelihood, and we’re grateful for it. I have built BLPR as a resource for businesses to create connection with their customers and create a pathway to survival. Now, more than ever, businesses, especially small ones, need a lifeline to stay afloat in a very tumultuous economy. Open one minute, locked down the next, now more than ever business needs to be agile, creative and digital to reach their customers wherever they are with whatever they have to spend.

If you are a small business owner I am inviting you to join a series of classes to help you keep your marketing lean, mean and meaningful. Learn 2 Earn: Set it and forget it social is a series of eight classes in which you’ll learn the keys to branding, creating content, scheduling it and making it work for you so you can get back to the rest of your life. Now, more than ever you’re juggling your attention between the demands of your business and your home life. Maybe you’re working from home and balancing childcare at the same time. Maybe you’re an essential worker but you need to grow your side-hustle into a full time gig. Maybe you’ve had an established brick and mortar business but you need to get fully online to reach customers you won’t be seeing in store for the uncertain future. Whatever your reason, there are a few lessons I’ve learned along the way

  • in working with a variety of businesses to expand their customer outreach,

  • while successfully managing eight social media accounts while juggling mom duties

  • and I’ve done it while working from home for over 7 years

If you’re interested in joining the class, there’s still time. ☝🏿

Our first branding class was a success! There were a few questions that you might have too. Here are the take-aways that may help you:

Question 1

What if I don’t sell anything yet and I’m just exploring my brand?

  • That’s great! Exploring and research are step #1 but you need to be more than a brand to be a business. “Your business is the body, your brand is the soul.” - Ashley Chymiy

Question 2

I’m just here to learn something new. Do I need to do the homework?

  • The homework is a chance for you to practice what you’ve learned and see if it actually works for you. Classes are spread apart over two weeks so you can think, practice and come back with your challenges, questions or feedback. I’m giving you time so you can actually see what works or doesn’t and get the help to make you better in the next session.

Question 3

Where do brand colours come from, do I just pick something I like?

  • Pick something you like if you are the business. Brand colours are about expressing what the business is about and what the customer should expect. If you have a personal brand, then absolutely. But, if not, we’ll address imagery in the third class.

If this Q & A has helped you. awesome! Stay safe and, hopefully, I’ll see you next class.
